Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
What we do
- A “Skip to content” link, clear page landmarks and a logical heading structure for screen-reader and keyboard users;
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation;
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet AA contrast ratios;
- Responsive layouts that work at high zoom levels and on small screens, using the fonts already installed on your device;
- Alternative text for meaningful images and descriptive link text;
- A lightweight site with no required JavaScript for reading articles;
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
Some content, such as older articles, embedded third-party media (for example, social posts and videos) and advertisements, may not fully meet our standards.
